Three ingredients are needed to make dishwasher powder. If you want to make other household products, you’ll need these components too. The good thing about the ingredients you’re about to discover is that they’re sold in bulk in stores, so you won’t have any packaged products and you can say goodbye to waste. These three ingredients are :
- citric acid ;
- soda crystals ;
- sodium percarbonate.
Citric acid is a natural organic vegetable acid, used to descale, dissolve and remove rust. Soda crystals are used for their cleaning and degreasing power, as well as being antibacterial and good for pipes. Sodium percarbonate is an excellent cleaner, removing coffee and tea stains and brightening up the whiteness of dishes. Just be careful when using these ingredients, as they are very powerful.

Put a glass of citric acid, a glass of soda crystals and a glass of sodium percarbonate into a clean, airtight, dry jar .
